Hello, Welcome to Marion First!
First of all, thanks for checking us out. We would love for you to come and worship with us. God is doing some wonderful and marvelous things in the lives of the people that worship here. I have been the Senior Pastor at Marion First since April 1, 2007. I became a follower of Christ when I was 18 years old. I accepted the call to full time ministry when I was 23. I attended Anderson College (now university) and got my B.S. in management. I have also attended seminary at the college. I have been in active ministry (paid and non paid) for 20+ years. I have a beautiful wife named Dana and have been blessed with 5 incredible kids. I love watching, talking, and playing sports. I love spending time with my wife and kids. What I enjoy most is worship. I believe the chief end of man is to glorify God and be in His presence. My personal mission is (as A.W. Tozer says it) to recruit worshippers. The verse that changed my life forever: Matthew 6:33.
